Despite an abundance of existing animal-rights films like Earthlings, Dominion, or Seaspiracy in the West, there’s barely any documentary or docuseries about similar topics produced in Asia, especially Vietnam - our filmmaker's homeland. As a result, Vietnam is still farming almost as many animals as North America and meat consumption in Asia is growing at an alarming and unsustainable rate. So here we are, uncovering never-been-told-before stories in Asia.

First of all, our filmmaker Le Bui resonates with Binh’s story on a personal level, which is all that matters to him in making a film. Secondly, The Feast is the first-of-its-kind documentary in Vietnam specifically and Asia in general. Having the opportunity to tell such a groundbreaking story is an amazing experience to all of us!

To take it up a notch, you could arrange a screening for your community; we can provide you with relevant materials. Last but not least, you can help spread the film's message to a wider audience and further our marketing efforts by donating to us.

Our intention is to create seven more episodes to complete the series, hoping to create a compelling case for the need to change. Our hope is to not only find more people like Binh, but also tell more stories of how animal agriculture is adversely affecting our lives and our precious environment.
